So you’re going to BEA! That’s awesome. If you're like me and its your first year attending, then you may be FREAKING OUT a bit. To help cope with the anxiety, I’ve compiled a list of BEA Tips links from other bloggers. Read them, cherish them, and by all means follow them. These are people who have been going to this event way longer than us so let’s take some time to absorb their wisdom! Special thanks to all the great bloggers below for providing awesome tips to us newbies.

As I said, I will be going to BEA this year! If anyone would like to meet up, let me know! I know it’s going to be hectic, but I’d love to try make some time to meet fellow bloggers. Email me, tweet me, message me, whatever floats your boat :) I will be posting a tentative BEA schedule soon!
Are you going to BEA this year?
Do you have any tips for newbies?
Are there any links I should add to the list above?
This is awesome - thanks so much for putting this together! I've never gone and won't go this year, but I'm hopefully going next year, so I'm keeping this post bookmarked until then :)
ReplyDeleteI'm going this year. HOpefully we can meet up! Thanks for all the links to great sites with advice.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome, Lisa! And no problem :) I was looking for tips and figured I might as well share with anyone who wanted them as well!
DeleteIt's my first BEA too, and needless to say, I've totally and completely stressed myself out this past week. Seriously. Like so much that my back and shoulders were completely tense. I think I'm finally calming down, which is a nice break for me lol! So thank you for posting all these links in one place - I'll definitely be checking them out. And, yes, it would be great to meet! I'm sure we'll end up in some of the same lines. :)

Yeah I hope so!! Hopefully it won't be like the Storm signing ;)
DeleteIt will be my first time being in BEA as well. Thank you so much for this post. I am so nervous about going it alone. I hope to see you there!

This is my first BEA experience too! I'm going with my friends Kim from On the Wings of Books and Steph from The Fake Steph, and fortunately one of my roommates is Cindy from Cindy's Love of Books, and this is her second time. I'm still worried I'll forget something I'll need (like my brain!) or do walk around all day with toilet paper stuck to the bottom of my shoe, but the excitement is mounting! Are you going to the Blogger conference on Monday? Or the John Green breakfast? I'm also going to Teen Carnival and the Penguin Bird Bash. I'm a bit overwhelmed, but fortunately I have awesome blogging friends to help advise me, and I can't wait to meet you and all the other awesome bloggers at BEA!
