Follow Friday #2

Do you have anyone that you can discuss books with IRL? Tell us about him/her.

Unfortunately, most of my friends and family do not read as much as I do. But that is part of the reason I started this blog. There are so many awesome people out there with really great suggestions. I'd rather talk to them than chat my poor dad's ear off about how awesome a book is that he will probably never read. He really is a saint. Always there to listen and at least act interested :). The blogging community has been wonderful and welcoming so far.

I'm a member of several clubs on as well, which make for some good discussions.

To join the fun and make now book blogger friends, just follow these simple rules:
  1. (Required) Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Host { } and any one else you want to follow on the list
  2. (Required) Follow our Featured Bloggers -
  3. Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing.
  4. Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say hi in your comments
  5. Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don't just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don't say "HI"
  6. If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love...and the followers
  7. If you're new to the follow friday hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!

  1. Hello! :)

I have a few people that I talk about books with in real life but the blogging community is great because there is just so much variety, plus I have found so many new books to read!

    I'm a new follower!

    Happy reading

  3. Hi! Hopping by here. :)

I usually talk to my boyfriend or another friend who reads (but nothing like myself). Neither of them are interested in my books, but still listens. I appreciate having them, but I'm so glad that I've found these wonderful book communities and bloggers to have discussions with! :)
